Akane keeps herself afloat with the only regard of her medicinal concerns. Otherwise, she'd have fallen into despair multiple times before, with the only propelling force in her life to protect others and keep them safe, even if it means experimenting on the dead and developing new techniques. Despite her taboo techniques, her examinations and research has resulted in the development of extraordinary skill in the medical field -- the majority of which is done without the use of chakra. Akane holds the death sentence and other death-related factors in the field to be 'barbaric,' 'cruel,' and 'unusual,' despite their widespread occurrence in combat.



Akane will always try her best to never use the kunai in open combat, preferring to render enemies unconscious for interrogation or imprisonment. Due to her improvised, non-combat jutsu, Akane has developed herself into a jounin, graduating from tokubetsu jounin. She dabbles in kekkei genkei and hiden, mostly doujutsu. In the future, she may develop a combination of doujutsu, supplementing and designing a 'perfect eye' in her own mind. Being from the mist village, she has the abilities of the hydrification technique, something she tries her best to hide. In recent times, the medical-nin has procured a hakamorigan doujutsu, but quickly realized that its properties have corrupted her from her old medicinal ways. For this, she is seeking to destroy it.

Akane has long, black hair, which runs down to her mid-back. In combat, it tends to be tied back in a ponytail, or held in a bun. The medical-nin has porcelain skin, and light purple eyes, a product of the Hakamorigan. Ultimately, she seems beautiful, possibly in part due to her foreign nature. Akane wears a pair of thick-framed black glasses, which have been replaced every one and a half years. Underneath her garments, she wears a fishnet, which goes over her white full-cup bra -- D-Cup -- and white boyshorts. She stands at 5'7", standing taller than the average woman.

Her demeanor keeps her organized and professional, which is efficiently maintained by her garments and criticism of other ninja. She holds a water bottle in her gown's left pocket, a teal water bottle with a teal straw, which she finds adoration of. On her forehead, just between and above the center of her face is the highly esteemed Hyakugou seal. The purple rhombus stands in contrast against her pale skin, moreso against how she wore white so often, and more mellow colors instead of an abstract purple. It contained an incredible amount of chakra, a volume of chakra only Akane could tap through the seal.

As of lately, Akane has grown more tired and exhausted with her continued existence. Bags constantly cover her eyes, leading to her hatred of anyone preventing her from pursuing onwards with her research. She respects her legal limits, but her work has seemed to have taken a toll on her. After being incarcerated, she wears a scrubs - esque jumpsuit.

A seal which is reputed to be the pinnacle of chakra control. By storing a vast amounts of chakra over an extended period of time into a specific point on their body — usually the forehead — the user creates this seal, which manifests in the form of a rhombus-like marking. Once the seal is formed, the user's already impressive chakra control allows them to perform techniques without any wasted energy. When released, the seal will either spread across the user's face or wrap around their entire body. The stored chakra is then released into their body, greatly amplifying their medical techniques and giving them access to both Creation Rebirth and the Ninja Art Creation Rebirth — Strength of a Hundred Technique. The user of this technique can also transfer the chakra from their seal into another individual, with the Strength of a Hundred pattern spreading around the body of the recipient.

This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Essentially, all ninja know this technique.

This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

This jutsu allows the user to transform either themselves or another object into the appearance of another person, animal, or object. The transformation technique is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques, since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts much mental strain on an inexperienced ninja. The transformation would be dispelled when the user is injured or hit.

A technique for physical restraint, quite as if the opponent had been tied in invisible steel ropes. This is a basic ninjutsu usable even by Genin, but its intensity will vary greatly according to the user's level. In addition, depending on the user, the technique can be cast on every target at once, and won't fail a shinobi during his missions. This debilitates the victim for a short period of time, which allows the user to either strike again or, in some cases, take the target into custody.

This displacement technique is a specialty of the Ninja from Kirigakure, where one causes a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan-user will see the mist colored by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the Doujutsu.

Using this jutsu, a person can temporarily reanimate a corpse, creating the illusion of a living person, and maneuver it at will with chakra. This is achieved by causing the heart to beat once more. The traces of surgery can also be erased with chakra, because of which there's no difference, at first glance, with a live person.

When a person has been afflicted by a pathogen or toxin, this medical ninjutsu can be used to draw out the agent and heal the damage. The cause of the illness is first determined by perceiving disturbances in the patient's chakra. Then, using a scalpel, an incision is made into the affected part. Using their chakra, the medical-nin then draws out the agent, while simultaneously repairing the damage it caused.

After the agent is drawn out, it can be used to create an antidote or medicine, which can then be given to the patient to ensure a complete recovery. This technique requires the utmost care and ability in diagnosis and incising and unmatched chakra control. Therefore, it is considered an extremely difficult technique, even among medical ninjutsu.

As this technique combines ninjutsu, chemistry, and medical knowledge, using it requires fine chakra control and advanced ability in medical ninjutsu.

It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control. Because of this, only a few highly skilled medical-nin are able to use this technique.

From there, they allow one drop of the tainted water to fall from their finger into an unknowing victim; a sleeping ninja, a tea-drinking kage, or a ramen-scarfing fat man. The poison, unless the consumer is immune to the poison, kills without distinction.

After releasing the chakra from the seal, the user is able to use unique techniques. Using this jutsu restores the users stamina.

Akane was born to the Yuki Clan before the civil war that racked the Land of Water. She was raised as any normal child would have been, learning a strict discipline for her clan. However, once the civil war in Mizu no Kuni erupted, many ninja died for their own seperate causes, leading to the untimely executions of some of her relatives. This occurance led to the Yuki clan's diaspora, sending the clan fleeing for safety in other lands. In Akane's case, her uncle and herself fled for Konohagakure, in which her uncle died of a fatal illness along the seabound route. Eventually, by way of travelling alone, reading signs and foraging for nuts, berries, and doing menial labor for money, Akane made her way to Konohagakure.

Once she had arrived in Konohagakure, Akane was enlisted among the ranks of Konoha's shinobi, being granted the rank of genin and beginning her training. In the current, her medical-nin outlook and care for the sanctity of life prevents her from ever attempting to access the powerful ninjutsu. Shortly after spending several years of her life in Konohagakure, she was finally adjusted to the Hidden Leaf style of life.
 
When she was finally of age and proficiency, Akane's time to partake in the Chunin Exams came around. Her exam was held with mild efficiency. Studying the ways of upperclassmen, the first stage -- the written test -- occurred without incident. She answered the majority of the questions, while falling short on the later few, and finally accepted the challenge of the tenth question. While in the Forest of Death in the second stage, her team of designated Mizu no Kuni ninja passed with flying colors, albeit a hiccup occured when someone attempted to open their scroll. Herself and her team were promoted to chunin.

As a Chunin, Akane pursued valid missions with herself and her team of likeminded Mizu no Kuni shinobi, the majority of which had deep, underlying hatred for the Yuki member of their team, mostly in part due to her ice release heritage, despite not understanding how to use it. On one mission in particular -- a B-rank mission dedicated to tracking down a rogue ninja in Nami no Kuni -- led to disastrous results, in which the rogue ninja in question isolated the Konoha ninja from their respective group leader, a Jonin, and killed him. The other chunin disappeared without a trace, and only through her cowardice was Akane able to survive the entire incident. Upon stumbling across a dying member of her team, a ninja from Mizu no Kuni like herself, she did her best to save her. On the journey back to Konoha, the ninja in question passed from infection. This traumatic experience led to Akane's dedication to medical ninjutsu, a passion that would lead her to become a dedicated Tokubetsu Jounin medical-nin.
