Akane stepped out of her medical clinic to visit the ramen shop. Unlike her usual gourd, in this time she was wearing a scroll collection on her back, tied together with velvety thread. She had a theory concerning chakra control and a reservoir of potentially untapped chakra, how that can be applied to medical ninjutsu, and finally, on a more somber note as she stared into a bowl of ramen -- which she appeared to had gotten in her reverie -- the potential that in the event of failing her duty and losing a ninja in the field of battle, how Akane couldn't bring them back to life.

The medical-nin finished her ramen. She came down to a few theses: Chakra is limited, and can only be used so much. Chakra develops over time and gradually gets stronger in an individual. Chakra can be stored without dissipating in a portion of the body. Finally, Chakra can be used to form a link between a living shell, and that enough chakra or medical ninjutsu may very well be enough to bring a being back to life. She slurped her ramen slowly, which seemed very much like her, except for the portions she slurped slowly. Akane wasn't sure where she was bringing these conclusions, after all: 'How could a mere medical-nin like me control resurrection, let alone all of my chakra?'

Questions plagued her as she sat at the ramen bar. She almost stopped eating because of her reverie-like thoughts. "Another bowl?" the salesman offered, to which she shook her head. "No.. that won't be necessary." The tokubetsu jounin brought herself to some more conclusions, first and foremost that chakra can be stored, and its natural generation can be sped up with enough chakra control. Secondly, by learning how to develop your chakra at a faster rate, it is possible to store away the excess, developed chakra somewhere in your body. Abruptly after this was drawn, she was hit with an epiphany. 'A seal!' The seal in question would be able to hold her chakra, and would be kept at some point on her body.

The finalized thoughts came to conglomeration when she began to wonder. 'How long would it take? How much chakra is required? I can generate my own chakra, but it may take quite a while to amass enough chakra to form a seal inside of me.' Her words slipped, and suddenly, the ramen salesman looked at her awkardly. "A-Ah! I said.. um.. the ramen feels hot inside of me." she forces a smile, and the salesman blushed. She finished her ramen, slurped down the broth, and got up. "Thank you for your service." she bowed gently, and left the ramen shop with new ideas.

It was at this time that Akane knew what she could try, develop, and potentially amass. For the next few days, or even weeks, she would visit a small waterfall deep in the forests of Hi no Kuni, meditating and perfecting her own techniques. The medical-nin slowly exited Konohagakure, carrying all of her scrolls and necessary supplies, including rations and refilling her gourd with water. She carried both the scrolls and all of the supplies out into the countryside, finally reaching the elevated waterfall which had a naturally tranquil feeling to it. There were no large animals in the area, with exception to small fish that swam in the pond at the foot of the waterfall, as well as butterflies and insects that fluttered in the summer air.

Akane slowly put all of her equipment down. She positioned her gourd, digging it into the small pond's mud bed. Her scrolls were kept away from the water, wrapped up in linen. Next to the linen-wrapped scrolls was her basket of rations and food for her hiatus from the village. At her waterfall, she felt disconnected from the affairs of the Konohagakure ninja. Instead, she felt connected with the nature of water, and how her chakra interacted with all life, including her own, the aquatic animals, and the plants around her. Akane slowly stripped off her garments, instead revealing her under-gown clothes: for her top, she wore a loose-fitting shirt with underlying fishnet, and for her pants, she wore short shorts, which nearly exposed her boyshorts. Her white socks ran up from her boots to her knee, leaving just a small amount of her thigh exposed.

The medical-nin went near the pond, isolating herself from her equipment and supplies. She slowly sat down, and crossed her legs over one another, just over her thighs. Then, she put her hands together, her right hand feeling her left hand in the lotus position. From there, she gently closed her eyes, and began to look inwards to her chakra. She could feel it pulsing around inside of her, the controlled power untapped as of yet. Akane began to shift her chakra, pooling it out of her feet and doing her best to move it into a spot. First she tried her central point of chakra -- the midsection. She could feel it tense up, but as more chakra was made in her focus, she knew that she could not pool her chakra in her mid-body.

The meditating nin attempted to divide it, pooling it into her hands. She felt powerful, knowing that at any moment, she could possibly pool the chakra into her fists to amplify her attacks. However, she needed to create a reservoir, not a new, powerful attack. Akane chose different spots: her chest, which felt too constricted, her throat, which felt.. unnecessary for a reservoir. Finally, her chakra shifted up to her head. It felt at home there. 'Is this the reservoir I speculated?' Akane moved it around her head. The chakra felt at home there, it felt spacious and necessary for her intended reservoir of chakra. Then, she felt it. The perfect reservoir location: her forehead.

The medical-nin kept herself secured, not getting overexcited over her discovery. She knew that if she became passionate, she would lose her focus. The forehead was where she would place her reservoir of chakra, and would follow suit with this for several days, possibly even weeks. It was at this time that she wondered: 'Does.. anyone know I'm out here?' Despite the weighing question, the girl quickly dismissed it. 'Here. It is here where I will learn my jutsu -- my true, untapped potential. I will defeat my inner demons and achieve what others cannot.' With those decided words, Akane slowly entered into herself, focusing on her chakra. It was necessary to create enough to fuel the reservoir, let alone teach her chakra to route to her forehead.

Another extending issue was the seal. If her reservoir is to function as it will, it would be necessary to create a seal on her forehead to contain the amount of chakra that would be in her forehead. In her meditative state, Akane pondered the possibility. What seal would she use? What would it be called? What is the necessary precautions needed to create the seal? Perhaps only time could tell. With enough chakra dedicated to one point, can chakra create a seal in and of itself? With the user's will, yes, and with this conclusion drawn. Akane would follow through with this in the days to come.

Akane began to shift her thoughts towards hydrification. It was a highly effective technique, even if she left it unused. That was destined to change, most definitely. She devised a theoretical castle, similar to the Kage's office. She would need to infiltrate it and kill the inhabitant. In her vision, she thought of the Mizukage. The medical-nin thought of many different ways of infiltrating the castle, from launching oneself onto the rooftop in her aquatic form, to being purchased by the kage in a beautiful porcelain gourd with her hydrificated self inside of the gourd. The entire vision felt like a telling of the future, but it was only a matter of time.

Among the things she pondered was the powers of the hydrification technique, from hiding inside of her gourd to using the water release technique alongside her own abilities. She imagined simple, albeit effective stealth techniques, including autonomous chakra suppression while in her hydrificated state. As well, she pondered changing how she look. Blending in with the world by changing how her outer vessel appeared. 'I'm a coward, I need defensive jutsu. Think!' she forced herself, and abruptly recalled when the kage, in their sparring match, punched her in the face. She thought of an alternative scenario where his hand became stuck, and was to be cut off by the aquatic pressure inside of her body. It was a very true possibility, but would take much speed to master.
