Information: There is a large orphanage outside of Konoha, but recently the area has been terrorized by thugs. Today the thugs lit the building ablaze, your job is to save the children and remove the thugs.
Matsu was outside the palace in the Konoha village reading his latest mission. 'There is a large orphanage outside of Konoha, but recently the area has been terrorized by thugs. Today the thugs lit the building ablaze, your job is to save the children and remove the thugs.' Alright, doesn't seem so bad. He thumbed his sword on his back bouncing it around a bit and left for the mission. It was morning and the sun was shining on the city. Recently Matsu had gotten over his feelings for Akane. She had gone rogue and committed a few felonies.

He had left the village, and the roads outside as always were full of people in the mornings. Matsu looked foreign he was wearing a dark green cloak that flowed in the wind as he walked. Not only was he wearing a cloak, he also had his massive sword swung over his back. People looked at him like he was a monster. He used to care what people thought about him, but recently he stopped. People are harsh, people change. I'll never be attached so someone again after what she did to me. He put his hood up and continued on his way to the objective.

Matsu was walking along a road when he spotted the orphanage. It was set a blaze. Matsu sprinted inside. There were bodies spread about, most were children. It reminded him of the genin he witnessed die. He was suddenly filled with the passion he grew for children and started picking bodies up and taking them outside. He had no idea which ones were dead or alive, so he took his chances and just grabbed them all. The building was burning hot and Matsu was sweating hard.

After a while Matsu was on his knees outside of a burning building in front of a couple unconscious children, and that's when it got complicated. Raiders poured out of the forest around the building. and I thought I could get away without fighting. Matsu drew his sword. "Are you ready for your first real feeding Soul Edge?" His sword blinked. "I'll take that as a yes." Matsu started battle. His swung his heavy sword slowly, but his strikes were powerful and he slayed his opponents quickly.

Matsu's sword never stayed covered in blood for long, soul edge would suck up the blood from Matsu's opponents. The battle was intense. As intense as any fight with Matsu could be. He didn't like using jutsu on people who didn't use it back. Would you consider Kenjutsu jutsu? Matsu sliced diced his opponents he didn't want to make a huge mess in front of all those children so he didn't cut off any limbs or slice anyone in half. Why do I even do missions like this anymore?

The bandits were dead and the few of the children that had survived the fire were starting to regain consciousness. There were only three that stood up the rest of the children had died. The dead children's bodies were all in a line on the ground, the three that lived stood up within the group. Luckily they had no idea what was going on. Matsu picked up the kids and ran off away from the fire. He didn't want them to realize what had happened to their friends. He ran with them until they were back out on the road and the building was out of sight.

He sat the children on the ground and they looked up to him, confused of they're situation. They were all covered in the soot from the flames, blackened from head to toe. "I'm going to take you guys to the main village, something uh.. happened at the orphanage." They were all still a bit dazed and slowly nodded. They could walk now so he just had them follow him. The kids easily recognized him as a Jonin of the leaf village and figured his words would be at least half true. The road still had people walking between their destinations, but on this walk Matsu received several strange stares. Its not every day you see someone with children covered in soot following them.

They eventually reached the main village. Matsu didn't want to immediately take them to the palace he wanted to tell them something before they went back though the system. While Matsu was thinking of how he could do this, one of the kids started crying. He realized what had happened. Matsu sighed. He turned around to face the kids and got on his knees. "My name is Matsu, Ueshima. I'm a Jonin of the leaf village. You won't understand this know, but when you go back though the system and end up in an orphanage in the village, come find me." The kids heard him but they just blinked and stared at his face, they were frozen from the fear they were experiencing.

The children all started to realize what had happened. One of the three was hardened and wasn't surprised that something like this would happen to him again. He must have experienced several hardships in his life no not be phased by this one. Matsu was taken aback that only two were upset, and the second of the two wasn't even crying he was just frozen. Matsu beckoned for them to come with him, he took them to the Villages orphanage management building and left them with the woman at the desk. Matsu tried hard to not think about where they would end up next.

Matsu wandered back to the palace and turned in his mission. Once he received his payment he returned home and lied down on his couch. He stared at the ceiling and went over his life. Akane. She was beautiful on the outside, but ugly on the inside. She was a criminal and a murder. Why am I still having regrets. He straightened his back. For some reason.. I keep thinking... if only the circumstances were different. He let his back flop back on the the couch again, and sighed. "Hakamorigan." He whispered to himself. Recently he had been researching its powers. It fits her well honestly. He fell asleep.
