Ken was sitting in his chair behind his desk staring out the massive window, that allowed him to peer out over his the city. The city was bustling with people, his people. He was now the Raikage. His new position of power brought him a chance to bring forth a new area of peace to the, no, his village. As he stared out the window he could see the clouds gently floating over the many buildings in the mountain range. His tower was so high up, that he could see the difference between the normal clouds and the ones that were raining down on parts of the range. It sure is good to be Kage. He turned quickly and swiveled around in a circle in his chair like a child.

He was enjoying the view when he heard someone running up the stairs on the floor just before his. A guest? He turned to face the doorway, his ongengan was acute and it took quite a bit for the ninja he heard to actually make his way into the office. The ninja bowed as he entered and asked a question. "My lord, as the finest ninja of espionage I wish to become your spymaster." Ken was suprised that he even had the guts to come up here, let alone to ask that question with a straight face. "Ok." Ken turned back around in his chair and looked back out the window. "S-sir do you have any objectives for me?" The Raikage turned around once again. "Sure, go spy on some of the other Kage and tell me what they are up to. Don't try too hard."

The ninja was suprised that the his Kage would give him such a high scale mission before he had even found out his name. "My lord, you don't want to know my name?" Without turning around the Raikage said "Why would I want to know your name? If they catch you and I don't even know your name that will give me something to fall on." He turned his head to peer around the chair "What are you waiting for? Go." The ninja scurried out of the office and started his newest mission. That will sure scare him, he probably won't even do it. The Raikage reached into his desk and pulled out a small corked bottle of gin. He popped open the cork and quickly drank the tiny amount of fluid. Nice...

It wan't long before he heard another set of foot steps climbing up the stairs with his ongengan. Just like before he was ready for them to enter. It was another Jonin. "What can I do for you?" The Raikage asked. "Sir, I am a teacher from the ninja academy and I would like a grant for the Ninja Academy." Ken's eyes brightened "Say no more." He smashed one hundred thousand Ryo on the desk in front of him for the Jonin. "I like children, and I hope this money will make the Ninja Academy a better place." With a smile he handed the money to the Shining Jonin and he left. Ken turned back to the view of the window after the ordeal. It sure is nice to be Kage.

The Raikage stood up and walked out of his office. He climbed down the stairs that led out to the top of the tower. He stood with the wind blowing on him. He looked over his land, miles and miles and miles spanned out before him. People, land, homes, money, animals, everything. Everything here was his. His to take, his to encourage, his to protect, his to revive. He was proud of it. It was an artwork. A painting that has had years spent on painting its past, present, and future. This painting, was not his. It was his peoples, and he does not own the people, or the land, or the homes, or the money, or the animals. Because they owned him, but he also owned them. They owned each other, and without each other. They were nothing.
