Ken was walking though a district that was filled with places to eat, ramen, sushi, curry, you name it, people were selling it. Ken wasn't hungry though, he was looking for a Tokubetsu Jonin of his. He had heard that he was only thirteen! Thirteen and already a Tokubetsu. Ken was exited to even see this kid. He wanted to at least slightly conceal his excitement though, he cared about appearance and in this part of town he was wildly known. Then suddenly he spotted him, he was eating ramen at a humble vendor's stall That must be him! Ken slowly sat down in a stool next to the Tokubetsu Jonin and called him awkwardly by name."Met- suki? Tell me, how did you get to be a Tokubetsu Jonin so early?!"

Metsuki was sitting at a small ramen stall eating. He had just finished a mission and wanted to take a slight break before heading off on his next one. The teen had ordered miso ramen with egg, and he was slowly eating it with care. Metsuki liked to take his time when eating food, especially foods he wasn't too fond of. The Tokubetsu Jounin didn't really like ramen, but he was starving. He turned to hear the Kage's voice, but Metsuki finished his food. Turning to the Kage Metsuki responded. "I was a chuunin and the Kage before you sent me on a B-Rank mission. My parents they're traveling merchants you see, and my job was to guard their caravan. A group attacked us, and I killed a man. At the time I went through quiet a lot of trauma. The previous Kage acknowledged my skills and gave me a position as a Tokubetsu Jounin." Metsuki didn't like telling the story, but he thought it'd be disrespectful to deny his Kage an answer.

Ken listened intently he wanted to hear every detail of his story, when the pre-teen finished speaking the Kage was a bit upset that it wasn't more exciting. "I was expecting something a bit more... I don't know explosive? That doesn't matter though I'm proud that someone your age could be so powerful. I read up on the reports of all your missions, you do good work. Maybe if you keep up the good work you'll end up being a full fledged Jonin. The Kage wanted to pat the kid on the back, but he felt like it was too early in their relationship to be touching him.

Metsuki listened to Ken speak, and began paying the man for the ramen. Metsuki then paid the chef for a small glass of water, sipping from it Metsuki continued to listen the Kage. "Well my life isn't that exciting," said Metsuki in a dull tone. He took another sip of water and continued speaking, "I try my best on my missions I appreciate that you admire my work." Metsuki took yet another sip from his glass of water and continued speaking. "I'd like to be come a Jounin, but only when I feel ready. I want to hone my skills a bit further." The teen was trying to act as professional as he could

The Raikage was very suprised of his Tokubetsu jonin. Ooo so mature. "My my, you're so mature. You already sound like a Jonin." Ken was kinda enjoying himself, even though it was just awkward conversation with someone he had only read about before. "So, you have the sharingan? I heard that the Uchiha clan was very small. I'm glad I have one In my village." It was populated in the streets and Ken could hear every word everyone said, that reminded him. "I have a doujutsu too, the ongengan. Do you know what that is?"

Metsuki continued listening to the Kage ramble on. I'm gonna have to go soon if this goes no where. I need to do a mission soon, I'm running low on money. Metsuki took a final sip from his cup of water and handed it back to the man. "Thank for the compliment I guess... I don't really try to be mature." Metsuki sat there tapping his fingers on the table. The Tokubetsu Jounin ignored the whole Sharingan part and responded to his other part. "I've heard of the ongengan, but from what I've heard it's pretty much useless."

"Not at all! Why, they ongengan is amazing, I can melt people from the inside out with just a sound wave. I suppose it can't be helped, you don't seem like the type to be easily swayed." Ken stood up from his desk and bowed before the child. "Well I'll be off then." He tilted his head "Toodles!" He took off without another word. I like this ninja, he's a little spicy with a bit of serious brooding type. As much as Ken loved to talk to children and try to be a role model to them, he couldn't spend all day talking to one of his ninja. Let alone a ninja below the rank of Jonin. He returned back to his office and back to his paper work. Ken has left the thread
