Atsu is an immature, energetic, and never sits still. She doesn't like sitting around and doing nothing, so instead of sitting in her Kage Office and doing paper work, she prefers to talk to her citizens and cohorts that live in the village. She likes to interact with their daily lives, hanging out with them during the day or hanging out with the children around the village and playing games with them. When missions come up she is always eager to see if they important enough for her to take it over, if they aren't she tends to be disappointed. It's not so much that she enjoys fighting, it's more like she wants to prove to everyone that she is strong. It probably has something to do with her mistreatment when she was a child, but she'd never admit it. She's a very prideful person under her smile, she doesn't like turning down a challenge, but even worse she hates losing. Her being immature doesn't help if she loses either, if this does so happen she may begin to pout, act like a sore loser, or even begin having a temper tantrum. She doesn't take many things seriously, and most think that she was chosen to be Mizukage strictly because of her strength and nothing more, she doesn't believe this, she believes she was chosen for her strength and her will to protect Kirigakure both literally and in the form of showing everyone its strength. Maybe that is sinful pride, maybe it's love for the village, either way she wants what's best for Kirigakure.

Atsu is a young looking, small, child-like girl. She doesn't seem her age at all. Small in height, weight, and breast size, she looks like a genin, a small one at that. Standing at 5'3, and being extremely skinny, people from other nations often mistake her for a child and under estimate her. Not according to her size and stature, she is extremely strong. She wears short black pants, and a tight orange shirt, and normally bright colors. She wears her hair in a pigtail, though sometimes she puts it into a ponytail, and her Saiken on her back in a holster used specifically for holding it.

This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Basically all ninja know this technique.

Though the mist is corrosive to all around it, the user seems to be immune to it.

The user engulfs their entire arm into a layer of boiling steam, and then they use Kyuuken Ryuu to propel them-self at an even faster speed then Kyuuken Ryuu: Shinsokuken. Unlike Kyuuken Ryuu: Shinsokuken, though, the user can turn a bit when using this jutsu, but it's difficult. Along with this, the steam around the users fist is extremely hot so if/when the blow is landed the initial impact with the speed is strong but the damage is increased highly through the usage of the scorching hot steam.

The user dashes around the enemy at such high speeds that it's almost impossible to track even with doujutsu. The users strength and speed combined in this jutsu can be deadly. The user starts the attack with 10 blinding speeds at every angle on the user, and then the user uppercuts the target into the air and then flashes behind them with blinding speed. The user then grapples them with their legs, burning them with steam while also spinning themselves into a blinding back-flip. The user then releases the target, sending them flying towards the ground head-first at unbelievable speeds.[/PTab]

Atsu, at a young age, started off with an under-whelming appearance if anything, it was her will that put her apart from the other shinobi. She had been picked on by her size and ridiculed because no one believed that she would achieve anything in the ninja world. She didn't want to believe what they said, she was a stubborn and rebellious girl and didn't enjoy being told what she could and couldn't do, and so she was determined to prove them wrong. She began to train hard so that she could become a high-class, strong, and unbeatable shinobi, as she put it in her own words. Though, despite her training no one would believe in her ideas that she would ever become strong, but she was determined to prove them wrong.
Atsu, after years of training but still being rejected in the eyes of her peers, decided that the only way to show everyone that she was capable of strength was to become their leader, the Mizukage of Kirigakure no Sato. She trained, and trained, becoming stronger, and stronger. She eventually became strong enough to hold her own against Jounin even at a Chuunin level, being one of the strongest shinobi she had ever met. She was stronger than her body showed, and that gave her the advantage against enemies that underestimated her and her abilities.
This eventually caught the attention of the rest of the village, even the village elders and the current Mizukage. Despite her young age, Atsu was appointed to the rank of Jounin at just 13 years of age, due to her excelling skill in the power of Nintaijutsu. She spent the next two years working under the Mizukage as their assistant and apprentice, gaining power and respect throughout the village. Over time, everyone knew who Atsu was, and when the Mizukage died they blamed her.
An assassin had broken into Kirigakure, with their heart set on the death of the Mizukage. Atsu tried to stop them, but they overpowered her, and killed the Mizukage as well as almost killing Atsu. The village blamed her for being weak and as Atsu lost her respect throughout the village she gained an utter boiling hatred and rage for the person that killed her friend and teacher. The village also had a boiling rage, but not for the man that killed the Mizukage, they took their anger out on Atsu and threw her out of the village. She was hated by everyone in Kirigakure, even her own parents rejected her.
Atsu, being the stubborn girl she was decided that the only way to return to her home would be to hunt down the assassin that killed the Mizukage and bring them back to Kirigakure. She did just that, using her skills that had been refined through training with the Mizukage, she captured him through the combination of her power and speed and put them on trial in Kirigakure. This act that she had done was rejoiced with happiness in the village, she gained love and respect again, and then was elected Mizukage through her display of power.
